The Food & Beverage team at Lasseters has seen some exciting changes to key staff and menus.  Lasseters recently welcomed Bijay Chetty as Executive Chef, Chris Cossill as Executive Sous Chef, and Deryck Goodman as the new venue Food & Beverage Manager.

Bijay Chetty is a talented fine dining chef and has worked previously for 5 star resorts in Fiji. He is passionate about improving the food offering at Lasseters.
Chris Cossill brings a wealth of kitchen management and chef experience working previously in Melbourne and Uluru.
Deryck Goodman has worked in the Food & Beverage department of Lasseters for a number of years.  He now manages restaurant staff and is dedicated to excellent customer service.

The new team has been working hard to deliver a new, refreshed Juicy Rump All Day 10am-10pm Menu.  With seven succulent types of prime meat from the Juicy flame grill, seafood options such as Oysters, Salmon and Barramundi, a range of classic Australian dishes likes Chicken Parmigiana and a delicious Beef Burger with a homemade sourdough bun, salads and vegetarian options, there is something to cater for all tastes.  And with a Kids Menu and Platters to share, the Juicy is the ultimate place for friends and families to gather catch the sports on the big screen or take in the views of the MacDonnell Ranges. For a quick bite during the day the Juicy Lunch Menu provides a choice of over 15 delicious meals from as little as $14. Daily specials will make the best of seasonal produce and give diners additional tempting meal options.

August sees the return of the massively popular Tight Rump special concept.  This time diners have the choice of 3 Days – 3 Ways! Monday night customers can choose from three different Schnitzels with beer battered chips for $17, Tuesday has a choice of three Pastas with salad at $16, and Wednesday is Pub night with 3 classics including Fish n Chips, Bangers and Mash and Peas, Pie n Pud for just $17!

Operations Manager, Craig Jervis, is delighted with recent changes and states; “Sukra’s recent award for ‘Best Restaurant (Accommodation)’ at the Northern Territory AHA awards celebrates the positive changes being implemented and proves our success. We are excited to continue this excellence throughout our other restaurant outlets and look forward to launching our new restaurant.”

Lasseters’ new restaurant will be unveiled mid- October.  The 180 seat restaurant will provide a la carte table service, offering cuisine that is a blend of modern Australian fare with a hint of the Outback and will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
